CCTV is a record you consult after something goes wrong. A-Eye is a continuous check on whether the operation is running as expected, and it runs on the cameras you already have.

Where CCTV is still the right answer.
Keep CCTV when
- You need continuous recording for security or insurance
- The requirement is deterrence and evidence after the fact
- Retention and export for investigations is the main use
- There is no operational metric you are trying to measure
Add A-Eye when
- You need to know output, compliance or movement as it happens
- Problems are being found at the end of the shift, not during it
- Someone is manually reviewing footage to answer routine questions
- Your ERP holds the plan but nothing confirms the reality
A-Eye is not a replacement for recording. Most sites keep their CCTV and add verification on top of the same streams.
Common questions
Do we need to replace our existing CCTV cameras?
No. A-Eye is designed to run on the cameras already installed. It connects to standard IP camera streams, so in most deployments no new hardware is needed beyond an on-site edge device.
Does the footage leave our site?
No. Processing happens on an edge device inside your facility. Video is not uploaded to a cloud service for analysis.
What is the difference between analytics in our NVR and A-Eye?
Most NVR analytics raise a detection: motion in a zone, a person present. A-Eye reconciles that detection against what was expected to happen, and retains the frame that supports the result so the finding can be checked later.
Can we keep our current VMS?
In most cases yes. A-Eye reads from existing camera streams and does not replace day-to-day security monitoring or recording.
