Comparison

A-Eye vs running on ERP alone

Your ERP is a record of what was entered. Not a record of what happened.

The short answer

ERP holds the plan and the transactions. It is only as accurate as the data put into it. A-Eye observes the physical operation and reconciles it against that plan, so the gap between the two becomes visible instead of assumed.

Side by side

System of record, system of verification.

Being fair about it

ERP alone is often enough.

You probably do not need verification when

  • Work is largely digital and leaves a system trail already
  • Physical handling is minimal
  • Stock counts reconcile without regular investigation
  • Nobody is manually checking whether records match reality

The gap is worth closing when

  • Physical stock and system stock regularly disagree
  • Production is confirmed by someone typing a number
  • Compliance is evidenced by a signature rather than a record
  • Disputes are settled by opinion because no proof exists

Rubicon implements Odoo as well as A-Eye, so we are comfortable saying when the ERP alone is the right scope.

Common questions

We already run Odoo. Why would we need this?

Your ERP is accurate about what was entered into it. It has no way of confirming that the entry matches what physically happened. Where those two diverge is where cost usually hides.

Does A-Eye require Odoo?

No. A-Eye runs independently. Because Rubicon also implements Odoo, the integration between verified events and ERP records is something we build directly rather than hand to a third party.

Can it write into the ERP automatically?

Verified events can create or update records in Odoo. Whether that happens automatically or requires human confirmation is a decision made per event type during deployment, and most operations choose confirmation for anything financial.

What if our ERP data is already accurate?

Then you will see fewer discrepancies and we will tell you that. The assessment is designed to find out whether a gap exists before anyone commits to a deployment.
