Is A-Eye not just another computer vision product?
Detection is one component of A-Eye and it is a commoditised one. The parts that take longest to build are verification against expectation, evidence retention, and delivering the result into the systems a business already runs on.
We already have a vision tool for one use case. Why change?
You may not need to. Single-purpose tools are often the right answer for a single problem. The difficulty appears when a second and third use case arrive and each brings its own dashboard, its own alerts and no shared record of the site.
Does A-Eye do defect inspection on a production line?
A-Eye counts production, monitors safety and PPE, tracks movement and verifies presence. High-speed defect inspection on a line is a specialised discipline and dedicated inspection vendors are usually the better fit for it.
How does A-Eye handle a use case you do not support yet?
We say so. The platform is designed so new verification types are added as configuration rather than rebuilds, but anything not yet built is described as roadmap, not as available.
